Mess Free Painting | Bolgtober day 29

The other day I decided to do some mess free painting with Molly. I dont think shes quite old enough for messy painting as I feel she would just eat it! This activity is great for young babies for colour exploration.

You Will Need:

Large clear zip loc bag

Paint

Sheet of card or paper

Sticky tape (optional)

This was so quick to set up and it meant we could do it several times with little to no mess! I simply cut the card to size so it fitted inside the zip loc bag, added some squirts of paint and placed inside the bag. I then attached that table with a bit of tape to stop it slipping about everywhere.

You can go crazy and use any combination of colours and you can also add glitter paint. We used red, yellow, orange and orange glitter paint for a Halloween theme.

Molly loved poking the bag and watching the colours move. Once dry the paintings make a great keep sake as babies first painting or can be turned into a card. If your child is older, you can also use this activity to practice writing letters and numbers!
