#30dayswild Week 3

Week 3 of #30dayswild challenge and its been a busy one! Cant believe we are almost at the end of our wild journey. I’ll be sad when this is over as we’ve been really enjoying it. We love taking part in anything outdoor related, and are looking for other things to participate in.

Here’s what we got up during week 3 of #30dayswild :

Day 15

Today Molly was outside when she all of a sudden came running up to me, shouting. She grabbed my hand and took me to a sad little bee on the floor. We scooped it up and took it indoors. I mixed up a mixture of sugar and water and we places the little guy next to it. Molly sat on the counter and we watched him drink his drink. Molly loved this and all she wanted to do was touch it. Once the bee had had enough, he flew off and out the window. To which Molly screamed “bye” whilst waving frantically!

Day 16

This was a work day for me which meant Molly had fun in the park with Nanny Pearson. She played football and picked Daisy’s. I miss her too much when I’m at work.

Day 17

With our #30dayswild pack, we were given a pack of seeds to plant. We finally got around to planing them. Molly filled the pot with soil and placed her seeds in one by one. She then helped cover them up, blow them a kiss them goodnight and water them. We got given Cornflowers, so hopefully we get some blue beauties soon!

Day 18

Another work day for me. This time Daddy was home too! Molly and Liam went on a walk up to the local park. It’s beautiful there and we love it. It is one of my favourite places to go. They have a field with cows in and Molly likes to go and say hello to them. She will run up to the fence and shout “hiya” at them whilst waving and blowing them kisses – Love her!

Day 19

Over the last few days, we have acquired quite a few more edible plants. We have expanded our herb garden and added strawberries, tomatoes, pepper, rocket and a few others. I decided to make some plant tags with Molly so we can easily identify our ever growing garden. Molly helped make the dough and then roll it out and cut the flower shapes with a cutter. Once they had cooked for a few hours on a low heat, Molly had a blast painting them. Once dry, I’ll write on them with a marker and attach them to the plants with string!

Day 20

I have lived by these lavender fields my entire life and never even knew of them until recently. An impromptu visit turned out to be an amazing day out. It is also a Wildlife Trust location which was lovely! Molly loved running through the fields, smelling the lavender. They had a wildflower section too which was so pretty. It was so lovely to see so much wildlife buzzing about the flowers too!

Are you partaking in The wildlife Trust #30dayswild? What have you been up to?
