A first birthday party is such an exciting event! You may think I’m completely crazy for even thinking about Molly’s first birthday, but the last 7 or so months have FLOWN by. No joke, I blinked and suddenly I have an almost 8 month old, with only 4 months until she turns one!
I love organising activities, events and parties. I’m totally that person that jots down ideas on random pieces of notebook paper and gets all Pin crazy creating endless boards on Pinterest. Molly is a Christmas day baby meaning double fucking whammy. Her birthday party will be held before Christmas with us still celebrating and acknowledging her birthday the afternoon of Christmas day. As if December wasn’t already a hectic month! I don’t want to leave anything to the last minute ( famous last words ) so orginising starts now!
Back in July I placed a poll on Twitter about what theme we should have for Molly’s party because I couldn’t decide. The choices were:
- Rainbow ( as shes our rainbow baby)
- Winter ONE-derland (because, Christmas baby! )
- Wild One ( Because I love this theme ).
Winter ONE-derland was a clear winner! With the theme now decided, I started to gather some ideas. I have a whole board on Pinterest which you can find here. But here is a peek at a lovely roundup of ideas I am sure we will be using!
I can’t wait to start buying/making decorations and piecing everything together!
