A Day in Brighton – Photo Diary

Molly’s first time on the carousel

I had such a wonderful time in Brighton for my birthday. We spent the day walking around the lanes. We found the Harry Potter shop Olivers which is amazing. Pricey, but amazing! We also paid a quick visit to Choccywoccydoodah on the way. If you haven’t heard of them, they make incredible creations out of chocolate. The window displays look like something you’d see in Diagon Alley. I used to work in the London shop, Its where I met 3 of my dearest friends. Rach, Simone and Amy. I miss you Doodahs dearly!

We then went for lunch at Food for Friends. Its a vegetarian in Brighton and bloody delish! We had the best waitress who was super upbeat and attentive. They were so accommodating on finding us a table with space because, well, Molly’s pushchair is like a small tank! I could honestly live off of their crispy tofu with their homemade sweet chilli sauce for the rest of my life and be a very happy bunny! Check out their menu here if you ever fancy going.

After lunch we walked along the beach to the carousel where Molly had her first carousel experience. It was hilarious. She loved it!|! We sat on the beach for a bit before heading to the pier. Brighton Pier, for those of you who’ve never been, is excellent! It’s a time warp of British seaside amusement. All blinking lights, arcade games, helter skelters and rather rickety looking rides. The smell of doughnuts fills the air as you walk onto the pier and there are several small shops where you can get All things with Brighton written on it, sweet treats and a good’ol stick of rock!

It was a lovely day at my favorite seaside town, and I honestly can’t wait to take Molly back!
